Looks great, sometimes wonder if I should have went with 16's vs. 12's.

 

deffinately dig the apes!....still kickin around the idea of some apesfor the SG.......decisions decisions!

 

I have to be honest,....it would seem to me that after riding awhile my hands would get numb from having them in that position. Has anyone had that experience or is it just my imagination,....don't get me wrong,....they look GREAT!,....I'm just not to sure if they would be for me.

Never had my hands go to sleep. 6'-9" here If anyone wants to see 16" apes on a streetglide or batwing fairing type bike, let me know and I will toss on my fairing and snap some pics for you.

 

Apes on RK are awesome, I put 10.5 apes on mine, but I wish I had gone to about 14-16". Your hands don't get tired, especially if you have the correct pullback on the bars.

 

It looks like your bars are forward leaning. couldnt you have pulled them back a few inches and kept your windshield intact?

 

apes on a road king are definitely the right thing to do.
