Posted a thread the other day about lots of stuff from earlier bikes not fitting the '14 touring models. The new P&A catalog reflects that often. I just searched EBay for windshields to fit the '14 FLHTK. A couple different companies seemed to ASSUME that if it fit a '13 FLH it fits a '14. It ain't so brother. The windshields are wider on the new bikes and the mounting holes don't match. I sent a message to both dealers to double check their listings. Can't see how those shields could Properly fit both. Watch what you buy aftermarket til those folks don't assume.

 

LRS just released their shield specifically for 14's

 

Thanks for the info. One of the EBay guys responded and said he would change his listings to remove the '14 fitment.

 

Found out today that the Kuryakyn extended brake pedal doesnt fit the '14. The pivot shaft is bigger. WHY??

 

This might sound ludicrous...But i think Hd should of put out a separate catalog just for 2014s (and up)....
I am also thinking that HDForums should make separate sections for 2014s (and up)....

I'd just be happy to get half the stuff I want lol. Every time I go to order something it's back ordered or they don't have it for 14's. I'm wanting to do the 110 kit but can't get an answer if it works with the liquid cooled models

 

Why a new section. Because three models were updated? Where is the new section for 2007, 2008, 2009, models.

 

I contacted Clearview about a new windshield for my '14 SG. Here's their reply:


"Hi Todd…thanks for the inquiry and interest in Clearview Shields. The 2014 SG fairing has changed and our 2013 windshields are NOT compatible. We are working on a new design and expect to have it ready for production shortly. Please check back with us in the next month or so. Hope you have a great week."
