Made the jump to a '14 Ultra Limited

Congrats i like the color combination you bought.. I been riding a 97 heritage for the last eight years and added a 2001 ultra to the garage this summer for my longer rides. I absolutely love my old bikes I have been to the harley dealer for a few BBQ's this summer and think the new bikes are pretty sweet also just not my cup of tea yet.....

Mine is the same bike/color combo. I've got about 1100 miles on mine, but she's been in the shop since Monday last week getting an automatic compression release valve replaced. My first miles on this machine were down the entire stretch of the Blue Ridge Parkway, from mm 0 to mm 469. The bike handles superb. The brakes are very good as well, and the motor is very peppy. The combination of those three make this bike a lot of fun to ride on roads like the parkway. You can approach a curve faster, break harder before it, and roll out of it with more power. Lots of fun! Congrats on your new ride and good taste in the color combo.

Thanks guys, loving the bike. Hope to put a bunch of miles on this weekend, supposed to be nice here. There are a lot of changes that I really like.
As far as getting rid of the cat, there are a few different threads on it here on the forum, so not going to go into all the details here. We used the drill bit method on 2 different bikes in about 4 hours total.
Lots of nice looking older bikes and new ones out there! Still have my 08 Heritage for when I want "that" kind of ride. Happy riding!
