OP - I can tell you are disappointed. So, in my opinion, regardless of how this works out, you will never enjoy this battery.
If such is the case, I might suggest you follow the instructions for their warranty - let them know you are not completely satisfied and return the battery. You will have to eat the shipping cost but I believe this may be in your best interest.
Then buy a battery locally or even try Amazon (especially if you are prime). Good luck
