Rain Gear
#21
I have a Victorinox rain jacket. Present from my wife.
I've never ridden in torrential downpours, but it works very well in light to moderate rain showers.
The jacket itself is light weight, has a moderate florescent color to increase visibility, and came with a small bag that I can fold it up into.
This way I can always carry it in the saddlebag without taking up a ton of space

I have the Harley packable rain suit for women and hubby has the Harley packagable for men. We love them. They pack into the hood. We each keep them on the bikes in the high saddle bag full time. They weren't super expensive and have nice features like inner leg pipe guards, boot straps, and Velcro to widen the legs to put on over your boots. Super easy to throw on quickly.

+1 I've used mine for the last 4 years and it works well. I also like the hi-vis feature. Attached is a photo of us putting the stuff on in Mississippi on our way to Little Rock.

HD suits work really well and are made for motorcyles with the heat proof inner panels. Frogg Toggs are not. Amazes me how people will spend all kinds of $ on chrome pieces or other **** they think is cool, but try to penny pinch on something that protects them and gives them comfort in bad weather. if you are going to do a lot of riding, get the right gear, whether it be HD or any other good brand.
