Smile 2014 Ultra Limited Stock Exhaust

New to the forum and I just wanted to hear from anyone that decided to keep their stock exhaust on their 2014 Ultra Limited......what are your general impressions? I have decided to ride my new Limited for a while before I decide if I want to spend the money on a new exhaust.....any comments are appreciated.

I think you would be happy starting out just by removing the CAT. That alone gave my 11 RKC enough rumble for me. Plus you lose a lot of heat by doing this.

Stock pipes are a little too tame for me. I'll be removing the cat and putting on some slip ons.

On my 2014 Limited I just put on my high flow slip on's on the first day but to be honest you could barley tell the difference from the stock sound because of the CAT. I then added a set of Vance & Hines power duals headers and then put my high flow slip on's on and it sound great now. BUT,.... to answer your question, if your on a budget,... i'd change the headers first, and then the mufflers.

I am going to keep my 14 Limited with stock pipes for now. Much improved sound over my other bikes when they had stock pipes. Probably change sooner or later. I will have to see what pipes are out there for the 14's. Only had it for a day. I have much research to do.

Put Rush Big Louie's with 2.50" baffles. Great price, quality & you will love the sound.

I pick my Limited up tomorrow. Plan on keeping the stock mufflers for now but just happen to have a decatted head pipe from my 2013 Road King in the garage. I may well keep the stock aircleaner on too. I got this bike for long hauls. I have have V&H Dresser duals and 4" rineharts on the Road King, if I need more noise, I'll ride that.

What you'll find out is although the sound is what motivates you, it's the power and decreased heat that are the big pay offs and make it all worthwhile.

Open up the intake and exhaust and put a PowerVision or a SERT or some other EFI management system and put some gas in that scooter.
