Been using a LRS Shield for the last 3 years, really like it....great shield for a fair price.
I'd buy from them again, but the one I'm running's perfect.Top edge of shield is about even with the tip of my nose.

I have been using a 7" dark LRS Ultra for a few years and love it. Just ordered the Elite 7" dark with the discount. Can't beat $72 shipped to Hawaii.

I need a shorter one for when I take the Tour Pak off and ride solo. Thanks for the heads up.

Decided since I have had two I was happy with on previous bikes would go with a 6" light tint flame etched for my street glide. I discovered for long rides when I relax and settle into the seat even at 5"10 the 6" was about right at nose level. Made the mistake of going with an 8" in dark tint and at night I felt like I had to sit up a lot to see over the shield all the time when the road was not well lit. So I would recommend for those who likes the dark tint stay with 2-3" shorter than you normally like for visibility. The recurve does a great job even at 6" of pushing the bulk of the air flow over the rider. I am thinking a lot of folks here measure nose level to the shield with the bike held straight up and not relaxed into the seat. And make sure your measurement is front side of the shield up with you in your "normal" riding position. Because the 6" is 6" above the fairing and like in my sig my stock one is 4".

Definitely like the companies product and even with adding the etching for custom look total out the door shipped was $104 so HDF20 code worked and got sale price on the LRS carbon elite.

I might order a taller one, maybe 11 or 12 clear for a see through shield for use in the winter.

Trying to determine what height would be best for me. I have a 2013 ultra limited with the stock shield, id say its pretty good as is but I would like a black on and if I can shorten it a bit that would be cool. How much lower then stock can I go and still get good wind protection, im 6-2. Thanks
