A parts manual with its exploded diagrams is a very nice companion. I bought my service manual before my bike was delivered. You shouldn't even change oil without one and a torque wrench is a must.IMHO.
If you've bought $50 worth of chrome or blingbling accesories and don't own a factory manual, you have mispent your money. Well, maybe not mispent, but certaintly spent it in the wrong order.
for you owners with 07 touring bikes did you know all fluids are checked with the bikeON the jiffy stand and not straight up!
