a HD manual on CD, where you could copy it without payingMOCO royalties? ain't no wayMOCO is going to do that and miss the opportunity to make a buck.

I'd love it on CD. Could print out the pages you needed, highlight and make notations, and not get them smeared up while you work.

for you owners with 07 touring bikes did you know all fluids are checked with the bikeON the jiffy stand and not straight up!
Bit ofa departure from the 06.

I've got the service manual and parts manual for my 2000 ECG. Both are excellent.

I also own a Suzuki Boulevard and a Suzuki service manual. Bike is great. Manual is crap compared to the MOCO manual.

BTW, Suzuki warranty service SUCKS big time, so don't be thinking metric bikes and their dealers have anything over MOCO and HD dealers.

Learning to wrench yourself is probably the key to a happy life, regardless what you own.

I've had the HD service manual for each Harley I've owned. They were good in the past but seem to get better each year.

For my '06 Ultra, I also got the Electrical Diagnostic Manual whichwill really help in a few years whenthe dealers no longerhave anyone that can work on"antique" TC88 bikes. This manual explains the built-in diagnostic package that came with the bike. How many folks that ownlate model HDs even know their bikes havebuilt-in diagnostics?

i'd recommend that everyone have three manuals. the Service manual, electrical diagnosis manual and the factory parts manual. even on my '06 WG when i was trying to find a exact chrome replacement for the recalled handlebars, the parts and accessories manual was wrong. if i hadn't had the factory parts manual, I (and the HD parts guy) would have ordered the wrong part.

The manual should be the FIRST "accessory" purchased... even before pipes and A/C. Kind of like American Express.. only... "Don't leave the dealer without it!"
