Default NEW Headlight trim Rings for 2014!!!

Yep, they made a change with the new visor style rings for the 2014's.....
AND THEY STILL FIT LIKE sh**!!!
Still fits over the stock which is dumb. Why not make it fit without the stock?
With the old I was able to add some high density foam to the inside of the ring and fit was fine with no gap..
Can't do it with the new...

Do you have a wider view? I noticed the '14 fairing really hangs over the headlight. Unlike the previous generation.

Boggles the mind how people have so many issues with the trim rings. I have literally had either the frenched or visor trim ring on 6 different bikes and have never had an issue with the install or having a gap. Always fits snug. Guess maybe either I am just lucky or there is something that some people are doing a little off on the install.

Im with you!! I just don't get it either. NEVER had a problem with one fitting, NEVER had a gap.

Then I again, I READ the instructions before proceeding immediately to HD Forums to bash Harley.

I have to say mine fits perfectly too. If you read the instructions, bellieve it will fit, and be patient it can be installed correctly which is tight with no gap.

head light trim rings? would a real pirate sweat the small stuff like this? more like a rub or poser problem...if the moco had really wanted you to have a trim ring(and not just extra bling they can make money on) they would have included one with your bike. better read the fine print on your warranty...could this be considered a performance modification? other wise, why in the world would you stick something like this on a bike...especially with gold accents? might cause high speed wobble due to changing the aerodynamics and air flow. lol
