Cool New Roadglide Pipes/Air cleaner

I bought a new Road Glide last week, the dealer had put Rush slip ons on the bike. I don't mind the look of the pipes but I want more sound out of them. Can I pull the baffles and not chance any damage to the motor? At what point will I have to buy a programmer that is able to be adjusted based on upgrades to pipes and air cleaner changes.

Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forums- with just mufflers, you can kinda do whatever you want to try.

the stock air cleaner and the catalytic converter are to 2 bottlenecks to flow, changing which might require tuning compensation.

the catalytic converter may be your enemy as it does restrict some flow and affect the exhaust note.

smart thing to do is leave as is for awhile and get out to a bike night or other event where you can hear other bikes...narrow down what your like- and don't
