Factory vented lowers fit '83 and up so I don't see why you should have a problem.

everything fits perfectly. haven't got them installed yet as I'm waiting on hardware from HD. I don't like the hardware that came with the lowers. The quality and paint is perfect. I bought fairing factory speaker pods and they fit perfectly as well. As we speak I'm working on the 3rd coat of primer for the pods so they'll be painted today and hopefull the hardware will be in next week so I'll be able to put it all together. This will give the paint time to dry and cure anyways.

sure thing.. I finished up the primer coats including water sanding to a silky smooth finish. Sprayed 1st, 2nd, 3rd coats of black in light coats and all was well. For some reason the 4th coat orange-peeled in a couple of small places and probably wouldn't be noticed by anyone but being **** retentive as I am, I let them dry/cure overnight and I will water sand the orange peel out this afternoon with 1500 and spray 1 or 2 more coats before I clear coat them.

I'm definitely interested to know if the hardware ordered from LSHD ends up being exactly what you need. I went to my local dealer and and the diagram was significantly different for some reason. Awaiting arrival, and then I guess I'll work through the hardware issues. But I'll be looking to UltraNutz for guidance. Thanks for all you've done to help us all on this one.

the only other thing you're going to need is the 10 screws that I did not order. I'm not paying $2/screw.. Harley is insane... Home Depot is right around the corner. The screw size is 10-16x3/4 T20 panhead
