I have them and they are ok for money. The vents don't work the best and in fact one of mine needs some parts or reworking. Any one know parts from harley that would work on the vents so they would open and close nice?

that's a known issue with the cheap assembly parts on these things so take a look at Ronnies HD online microfiche, get everthing that attaches the vent to the lower and you should be set.

I don't plan on having this Road King forever but at least if these lowers last I can take them with and have them painted. Gonna leave them black for the time being if I get them.

 

Couldn't resist any longer. Processed order this morning. Yee Haw, can't wait. Now I've got to get the mounting hardware. Thanks to the post earlier all that homework is done. Gotta love this place, even though it keeps spending my dough$$. :=)

 

I've wanted a set of these lowers for awhile now and the price seemed right. A buddy of mine has them on his '11 FLHX and has had to replace all hardware over time. A almost pulled the trigger on the eBay stuff, but not too sure I wanted to go through replacing parts from what I've been reading.

Well, I finally broke the piggy bank the other day and went with the color-matched HD lowers with detach hardware. I went with the HD as I have lots of rewards points from my local dealer. With the points redeemed, I ended up paying 285.00 for everything.

Even replacing the hardware for the eBay lowers, I think you can't beat the price. I almost went with these...until I remembered I had the rewards points.

 

well I kinda took the approach after seeing the hardware that I wasn't going to use it in the first place. Do it the first time and not have to do it again...

but yeah if I had the rewards and all as you did I prolly would have spent the extra $100 and just got the HD lowers also
