Thanks for a great write up. I love my (just turned over 900 miles since November) SGS, it's way more than I ever expected it to be and have absolutely no regrets. I"m jonesing for spring time although it's been 60 each weekend fro the past 3 weeks her in Denver.
I love the 14 too. I have a 13 and put 4k worth of upgrades before I picked it up. Im not gettin that back on a trade so I'll "suffer" with the 13. Love the larger forks, better suspension and one touch latches on the 14 but I still like the looks of the 13 guages better. ENJOY!!
My business is sales. You might take a bath but not me. Worked the stealer for the '13 at $19k.2 months & 6000 miles later got $18k for the trade.
Just because your smart *** might get taken to the cleaners some of us know when & how to work a deal.
Only suckers and the ignorant take a hit!
You got 18k for your trade, but guaranteed you paid full price probably plus pdi and all their delivery crap where as if a guy came in from the street might've gotten a little bit of a deal with no trade. You didn't do bad however.
You lost me at "no buffeting". I've ridden two different 14s (SG and SGS)and both bikes had PLENTY of wind buffeting, vent open or closed at 90. What am I doing wrong lol?? I feel it coming up, and from over the top.
