Default fl xied and jackpot/ac

have a stock 13 UC and just installed fl xied,s. Bike definitely runs better with them. Better throttle response and revs better. Thinking about some Jackpot slipons with a HD ventilator ac. Will this combo give me alittle extra oomph. Anybody have something similar. Any info would help. Thx much

just about any hi flow air cleaner will add a little, along with the mufflers.

however you'll still have the cat in your header...which is an obstruction. many riders remove that or swap headers.

the ventilator may leave exposed the ugly plug and wiring at 7 o'clock on the throttle body, have a look at that and see if you'd hate it being exposed.

also the std ventilator has been raw cast grey- which looks crap against the chrome motor.

I use the ness big sucker, chrome backing plate, resuable oiled filter and easier install. uses the stock cover. about $120 from easternpc on ebay

so the ventilator out of the HD catalog dosnt look the same as the one on the CVO. I like that look but didnt realize that it wasnt chrome like the the cases. I heard the ventilator dosnt spew oil allover the motor like some after market ac,s do

the oil spew is less a function of the breather as it is the condition of the motor, the type of oil used, the level of the oil and the quality of the install.

I have had no spewk on any of my head breathing bikes- used screaming eagle in the past...use the ness now. the S/E no longer uses a K&N filter media...paper.

I'm running a set of Screamin' Eagle Street Performance slip-ons and the Screamin' Eagle Ventilator AC. Added the Xied's and the whole setup really cooled off my right leg. I have a set of decatted head pipes waiting to go on to finish the job.
