Ditto to what Pino56 said...

Hey Dalton -
I have the quiet ones installed and like "Sam" mentioned, there's almost no noticable difference in the sound. However, if you go to the hardware store or Home Depot and purchase some fiberglassinsulation that's rated for high heat and cut two sections that will fit in the recessed area of the baffles.Tape the insullation in place with again, high heat rated tape. And then reinstall the baffles with the insullation in place you'll notice some sound reduction. But, they are still loud. I find that wind noise make it hard to hear my girlfriend. Although she say's [sm=icon_blah.gif]it's selective hearing.

I had thought of the fiberglass trick myself, but not sure about how/if it would hurt performance, and change the overall sound.
I had the TD's on my previous bike, liked the sound and performance, but thought if there was a way to tone it down a bit, I would do it. If not, I will leave them as is, realy like the look, sound, fit and finish.

Well, lets just say I am a coward when it comes to trying the untested. With the new engine build,I will not be trying the fiberglass, unless this beast is really loud due to the engine mods, and then just may have to go with what i have been avoiding for years, a two into one .
(Did "pack my own" back in the late 60' and early 70's for my street cars and it seemed to work OK)
Let me know if you give it a try.....
