My phone goes in the saddlebag where a phone should be when your riding. Remind me again why you need your phone when riding?

 

I care, we have enough assclowns on the road that are distracted, we don't need 2 wheeled assclowns distracted. Its all the younger generation punks that cant live without their smart phone. Doesn't matter if your using it for a phone, a camera, for music or for a *****, it is still distracting you from riding. That why the younger age group of phone using assclowns are leading the numbers of fatalities. Take your phone and shove it up your clown ***.

 

So, one thing is for sure, this is a pretty hot topic. Those that have had 'close' or not so close calls feel that cell phones are evil and should never be close to an operator while moving a vehicle. There's others that use their cell for more than calls and texts. I think another consideration is those that have a 'high level' position that requires them to be on call 24x7. And believe me, if my son, daughter, or wife was sent to the hospital needing a specialist right away, I would be ecstatic that they saw their notification coming in while riding. So, yea theres good and justifiable reasons for this product. But more, if you have no need for a product like this, move on to the next post that piques your curiosity. I'm not bashing anyone for saying it's not for them and the reasons for such, but not everyone is the same, so let's keep it civil and know that we are not a society of cut outs...different strokes.....I for one, like this idea for tunes and for seeing calls and texts that come in. I usually have my phone on my hip and almost never feel it vibrate, and then miss calls and texts. although I'm NOT a surgeon or any kind of emergency worker. One thing is for sure, before too long, just like it's illegal <here in NY anyway> to have any type of video playing where the operator can see it, so it will someday be for phones. I hope i've not offended anyone, but if so...so be it.

 

I would be concerned with this breaking off in the CD slot. I just keep mine in my glove box and listen to tunes/GPS/Phone calls. Simple and clean.

 

I do a lot of solo trips and the family likes to stay in touch. Plus we have a special needs child and I need to be available 24/7 no matter what I am doing.

 

If you knew the facts you wouldn’t comment as you did. Although it’s none of your business a) I’m 46 not 20, b) I don’t text or touch the phone while riding, c) incoming calls would be for emergency only and connect to my Bluetooth headset, d) to use for navigation. So like some minority of others who love to judge on this site, mind your damn business. Be a father to your kids and don’t try to parent other adults.

 

Have had mine on for a while now and it has not loosened up a bit. Works great.

 

i completely respect your rights to all things electronic. I will keep my cell phone and any other electronics in my pocket.

If i did not have to have a cell phone for work. I would not have one. Most dangerous thing ever invented and should be outlawed for use in a motor vehicle.
