I never activate or deactivate the cruise with my left hand, not did it ever cross my mind to do so. It is very simple to activate the cruise and adjust the cruise with my right thumb. My favorite way to deactivate the cruise is to roll the throttle forward.

The cruise control will take a little getting used to, Like RUThinking indicated above, I to just activate/adjust it with my thumb and deactivate by rolling the throttle.
I think he is referring to the on/off switch on the dash. I moved mine to the left side, it's just that much easier to operate.

Definitely an exhaust as factory sound is simply to quite. Feel like I'm in stealth mode. The air kit though looks good enough and unique enough for now. I still have my Arlen Ness Twin Peak so I may swap it out at a later date.

Congrats man, enjoy.
Dealership gave me a couple days to strip down the "addons" I put on the 2013 SG. I basically told them since they won't give me any value for what I added part of the deal I have to remove the stuff. Most I can use on the '14 if I choose, the rest sell on eBay. So I have a few days to type away my impressions before I pick swap out the two bikes and start logging another 6000 miles in the next few months

I hope the detail I provided helps others to either decide for or against the '14. I read every post up to yesterday on HDForums.com and there wasn't anything really clear enough for me, plus there was many negative (old school) vs. positive (technology) discussions/arguments that left much to be desired. Figured I would check it out myself and since I write articles for my industry why not put some of that skill to work here. Hope the details help others.

This Street Glide is the "Special" and it had the digital gear indicator underneath the odometer location. So not sure if its because it's Special or not. Very handy and useful.

Is there a break in on these modern marvels that are so much better than the antiques we ride?
