Wait a few months and your bike will be worth more as a trade in, at the moment everyone wants the latest and greatest so the dealers can offer low trade in prices.

NADA Blue Book has a 2010 Ultra Limited at $18,707 for low retail and $24,688 for average retail.

You can have mine for $21K and its above average..

Right now you would need to sell on your own, if traded your going to get in them shoot..

I just bought the wife a fabulous "new" 2008 which is intended to replace her fabulous 1998. I'll happily take the EVO 1998. Anyone with $ can buy new. Buy resale, you need $ and cents (sense).

I guess it depends on your dealer I was offered 17k today for a 13 RGU with just shy of 10k on the odometer said no thanks, he came back and said what if I get you 20k for your trade I said OK
So now we are trying to hammer out the rest of the deal as far as how much cash out of pocket and what not.
I will go do a test ride in the next day or so and see if I like it as much as my RG or not.

If anything, I bet the value of our "old" bikes have gone up! Here's the prices for Basic Black (the fastest color)

2013 Ultra Classic: $21,799 Limited: $24,199
2014 Ultra Classic: $23,249 Limited: $25,899
These numbers are a bit misleading. IIRC, the ultra classic has ABS and security standard now. The MSRP u listed for a 2013 is without ABS/sec.

Now factor in the daymakers which are standard on both bikes, the LED lighting in the rear and on the TK navigation, bassports, etc the price increase is more than justified, not even mentioning the parts specific to the MY 14 TK. I love all the hatred toward MoCo and dealerships in here.

Ya think they want room for the 2014 on the floor?
That's still a rip off considering that my dealer gives all that except the taxes, plus $1000 off list on new bikes anyway.

They offered 14k for my "10" if i jumped on a "13" three weeks before the "14s" arrived I wonder what they'll say now. I'm not even interested in trading/selling my bike was just curious. Even if I take off a few thousand $'s worth of goodies off of it most won't even fit on a new one!
