What about the chroming issue and the long *** wait for these mufflers? I would like to try a set myself and see how they compare to my Pro-Touring Mufflers from Fuel Moto. Mine have the same shape, and they have a very deep rumble. Sounds like the CFRs are similar, but I wonder if they are a "better" deep rumble? I too would like to hear a good sound clip.

Here is what I have now. I use the Jackpot x-pipe style of header too:

I've got CFRs mated to Cobra Powerport Head Pipes. It's in essence an H-Pipe that works/sounds more like a true dual set-up than anything else while still balancing the exhaust between the two sides courtesy of the installed chamber.

The cost was right and the fit and finish are perfect.

Check out my sound clips, link in my sig...

I have cfr's with freedom performance standard true duals sound great. I bought this set up in black to replace my chrome freedom performance outlaws. am suprised you dont hear people mentioning these when wanting a deep low sound. I think these sound lower and better than the cfr's I have, they do sound close though.

V&H Power duals with the CFR's for 30,000 miles on my '10 Ultra. No complaints.

Thumbs up

I'm running Jackpot head pipes with the Jackpot x-over pipe, CFR exhaust and SERT on my 2013 SE UC. Killer sound. Deep rumble.

Thank you guys for your inputs, highly appreciated.

I have finished the first step, I ordered the V&H Dresser Duals from Powersport Superstore, Amazon. The remaining parts will be, the CFRs, Fuel Moto Micro EFI Tuner and an Air Cleaner.

I also ordered the following along with the pipes from Powersport Superstore, Amazon:

Hope to receive them soon.

Congrats on the new purchases!

Let us know how the CFR's compare to the twin slashes.

Also what does the Fuel Moto X pipe do?

Looks like this is in addition to the 2/1/2 exhaust. Another $120 I think.
