No scratches, no dings. Was trying to get it back up fast because now I am standing in fuel. Funny once it's all over. Not even really upset about the fuel leak, these things happen. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and see it all the time with new equipment. One thing I can say about the 2014 Ultra, that sumbitch is HEAVY!
Ain't it 'sposed to be a bit lighter than it's predecessor? Like a 50lb shave?
Either way...a harley is a harley and a harley is a heavy damn bike
No, they filled it up before I left with it. That is what I thought at first but looked under the tank and fuel was dripping out of the front injector. I caught about 2 quarts in a drain pan before the service manager got there.
Dealer said front forks are now 49mm??? How did it handle vs. older models as far as brake-dive? Also, the steering neck bearings look to be larger which should get rid of the wobble a lot of riders experienced lately.
Holy cow! There's a story you'll be telling for a long time! I'd say that was a pretty good response from the dealer so hopefully, they'll fix everything including any scrapes and gashes with no hassle.
