Default Killed some time at the dealer impressed with 2014's

I had about an hour to kill between other things today and stole some time into the dealer to look at the new 2014's.

Wow... very nice hiding of the water cooling hats off to HD for that one.
I really was expecting to see the cooling hoses and garbage but it is hidden, as in you really have to look for it.

Oh to answer a question no the radiators do not vent directly onto the riders legs. There is actually a vent that funnels it out and away from the rider.

Reading the list of upgrades/improvements you don't get a clear picture of everything that has been done. At least I didn't till I started to really go over the new bikes. They didn't really change for the sake of change, they improved all the daily life things that I've changed on my bike. They really paid attention to all those damn surveys I've been filling out for the last two years, there isn't one thing on my list of needs improved that they didn't address.

I still can't get over there is no RG!!!!????

Dealer hopes they are a mid year release because I was the 10th guy today asking about a RG. I can honestly say I will wait for a RG with twin cooling and that will most likely be the last bike I buy for some time.

While picking up my bike at the dealer this morning I was able to sneak a look at a CVO Limited that was in the process of being set up . It was Burgundy Blaze and Typhoon Maroon and it was stunning . They let me go over it and even play a little with the electronics . If you didn't know , you wouldn't know it was water cooled . It looks like a HD should . I set my smartphone up using Bluetooth and it worked like a charm and the sound was really good . I was told that you could order a more powerful amp with lid speakers for an even better sound .Gaugs are much easier to read , fairing vent actually looks good IMO . New Tour Pac and side bags with new latches and hinges are a big improvement . The new/larger Tour-Pac will hold two ff helmets . LED lights are nice . I could see myself on one .

As was at my dealer today getting some work done on my road king. I'm ready to trade just because of the new latches on the saddlebags. So easy to open!!! Of course it might be cheaper to just order some new saddlebags. I suspect the 2014 bags will fit on earlier models.
