Testing cams on a 2014 FLHTK twin cooled 103", we started with Wood TW-222's. Bike also has Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe, Jackpot 4" mufflers, FM Pro Billet air cleaner, and we dyno tuned it with Dynojet Power Vision. We will be testing the TW-555 & TW-777 cams in this bike this week as well for comparison.

Here is the dyno chart for the TW-222's, very strong right from the bottom. Using all of the stock clutch and then some.

Holly crap! That's some awesome torque.

What would the downside be with these cams in a Limited? Is idle strong? Drivability in traffic?

Thanks in advance, looking forward to your opinions.

I think I want to spend money. LOL.

Another day, another cam swap. 2014 FLHTK, Twin Cooled 103, Wood TW-555 cams. Bike also has Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe, Jackpot 4" mufflers, FM Pro Billet air cleaner, and we dyno tuned it with Dynojet Power Vision. Nice broad horsepower and torque. Next stop TW-777

Here is the dyno chart for the TW-555 cams

Will the added power shorten the life of the crankshaft? I am unaware of any enhancements to the 14 crankshafts; history has shown a direct link between added power and failures.

So a little drop in Tq, slight increase in HP with the 555's over the 222's. Guessing the 777's will just continue on this route...trying to decide which cams to do in mine....

I'm pretty confident Jammie wouldn't do any modifications that would compromise crank function. And if he was he would correct it. What he has done to this bike so far certainly wont lead to crank failure.
