Since you're about the only one that's actually looked - if you were using a plan round cover (such as a Blackline cover) would the pre 14 stage 1 kit work on the new motors either air or twin cooled?

We are going to be working on the air cleaner tomorrow, we will test fit a couple of them and post up our findings.

I already put the Rush 4" Big Louie with 2 1/2" baffle on mine right out the door. No decel popping and sounds great.

I test road the '14 Limited last Saturday at around 90 degrees, about 4 miles highway and 3 miles thru stoplights. At the second stoplight the ETMS kicked in. And at every light thereafter.
The big difference was the fact that my right thigh was no longer roasting. Made me wonder if Harley developed the Twin Cooling for rider comfort rather than engine cooling because the ETMS kicked in just as often as my '12 Limited.

almost bought a 2013 ultra limited this summer. am looking forward to all the results to see if I made the right decision.

From my short term memory that looks really close if not lower then a air cooled 110.
