Switching wheels on my Limited to Streetglide Wheels...Bearing question

Ok, got thinking about this.
Dealer wants $89.00 to switch the bearings for me, I can buy the tool for around $100.00, but I hate to spend the money cause I'll probably never use it again.
Wheels currently have New, non-ABS bearings.
Since I'm only replacing the ABS bearing, I don't need to remove the non-ABS bearing correct?
If you're doing both bearings, I understand that the ABS side must go in first because it "seats" in the wheel, and then you slide in the spacer and press the non-ABS bearing in until it just touches the spacer.
Since I'm only doing the ABS side, all I've gotta do is take out the non-ABS bearing and then re-install the ABS bearing until it "seats". Shouldn't affect the spacer or the non-ABS side at all correct?
I understand the ABS bearing is a little bigger, but it will just stick out beyond the wheel a little, it can't go "into" the wheel any further than the non-ABS bearing did.
I can remove the bearing I'm gonna replace with the ABS bearing and re-install the ABS bearing with tools I've already got.
Something I'm missing?

Get the tool. You'll end up using it again in 25k maybe when a bearing fails or a buddy needs it - earn ya free beer or something you never know. It's worth having the right tool.
Yes, "with the tool" you can just remove the ABS bearing and install a new one leaving the opposite side alone. The bearing will only go down so far because of the bearing seat. No need to touch the other bearing at all.
I would not attempt this with home tools because you need something that can be inserted in the bearing center that will slip past the far side and catch it's edge. We are talking millimeters here. The spacer is touching the inside edge of that bearing as well so just its lip is exposed so there is not a bunch of space to just insert something in there to grab the bearing edge with "home tools". You need the tool made for it is what I'm saying.
I got the tool in 3 days... worth it. I just did this myself and it took about 3 minutes to remove and install a bearing...
There is a video on youtube showing how to do this.
