I will be getting my V&H Ovals tomorrow for my '07 Ultra and installing ASAP. If anyone is interested, I have my Screamin Eagle Slip-ons, (#65115-98B), up for auction on EB-Y. Item #270096164008. I hope the V&H sound as good as I have been told. I'll be posting my picture as soon as everything is installed.

 

I guess I went the opposite route than what you are going: I just replaced my V&H Oval Slip-Ons for the Screamin' Eagles, primarily because I wanted a quieter pipe. I really enjoyed the power increase that the V&H's gave me and the tone was nice as well. My neighbors and local police were giving me nasty looks, so I took that as a hint that I needed to go to something with less sound. The V&H's are beautifully made and perform very well!

 

Are you saying the Ovals are louder than my SE's? I haven't heard the the ovalsyet. HMMMM.

 

Well, I have the SE Street Performance Touring Muffler (#64985-07) and they are significantly quieter than the Oval Slip-Ons. My SE's probably sound different than yours.
