Default 103 exhaust cooling system

now dose the whole cylinder have water jackets in it for complete cooling like a v rod or is just the heads being cooled

There is a small area around the exhaust port that is cooled. This is basically a bandaid on the emission problem. Ill put money on this bike will be warmer to ride than the 2013.

Just the heads..... And if anyone thinks that they are gonna feel cooler, wait till the fan starts of on those radiators & starts blowing on you... LOL

isn't the picture missing the down tube of the frame?

What a mess of crap! God idea to run the hot return line over the oil filter, that should help things out?

HD would be better off installing an adequate oil cooler and a fan on every bike instead of cooling the exhaust valve with water...

I never understood why manufacturers and their stupid engineers, over complicate something so simple. There's no excuse to manufacture a bike that "pings/spark knocks normally" from the factory and no reason why the bike should have to tolerate such high temps.

I like the two colors of hoses. All the techs have to remember is "Red for hot, blue for cold."
