Default 2013 Street Glide oil level question

Hey guys, prior to having my 1000 mile service whenever I checked the engine pre-ride ( cold ) the oil level would be between the two markers on the dip stick where the book saiys it is supposed to be cold when checked on stand. Now post 1000 mile service I had synthetic put in and now when I check it cold on the stand it is at the line where it is supposed to be when the bike is hot on the stand. Now I also checked it hot and it is at the same line. Is it ok for the cold check to be that high on the stick or did the guy put to much oil? Sorry for the ignorant question but I am green when it comes to this stuff lol. Just don't want anything to happen to my bike. Thanks all...

if its reading good on the dip stick hot or cold then you should be fine. my oil level on dipstick pretty much stays the same weather its hot or cold.

Default Checking Oil Level

Look in the back of your Owner's Manual for Oil, Oil Level, to find the proper page in your book.

Oil level cannot be accurately measured on a cold engine.
For pre ride inspection, oil level should register between arrows, do not add oil to bring level to the full mark.

Thats the thing when bike is cold the oil is at the full line where it says full hot. And it stays there whether its hot or cold.

As long as your Hot engine oil level is good then you should be good because your Hot oil level is what you trust to take care of your baby :-)
