Default Trim on fairings

For those of you with your trim falling off because of the goooey glue melting under the trim, what are you doing to get the existing glue off without damaging the color of the fairing? And what new glue are you using to keep the trim in tact? Im thinking about using krazy glue.

Goo-Gone or WD-40 will remove the residual glue left on the fairing....
I wouldn't be using super-glue, but that's your call.
Auto parts stores sell a rubberized trim which is better than the factory stuff....

Super glue is a poor idea. It is great on anything that does not flex. Since this needs to flex tht is why they use the type of glues that they do. Go to the auto parts sore and get proper trim adhesive.

You can get 3M adhesive in a little tube at any auto parts store. You need clean any residual adhesive off, and wipe both the fairing and trim with denatured alcohol before applying the new adhesive.
