Why would you need to change bearings? The only difference I see between the ABS and non, is that the ABS has a sensor on the left side front, and right side rear that double as spacers while the non ABS just has a spacer the same thickness as the sensor instead of the sensor. What am I missing??

I`m curious too, I have a non ABS wheel I want to put on my 08 RG with ABS. It looks like the non ABS spacer is the same thickness as the ABS sensor and spacer. If thats the case it should work.

abs bearings and non-abs bearings ARE different, and need to be switched. they even look a tad different. don't know what the difference is , though.

maybe the bearing is where the abs gets its reading as to what the wheel is doing. seems logical.

BUT you can switch the wheels just fine after changing the bearings.

good luck

The tone ring is part of the bearing. all you have to do is install the correct bearings
