Loose tack

The damn tack came loose and was hanging by the wires on the way to work today. Only 3,200mi. Taped it back in. I'll fix it when I get home. What a PITA

What was the thumb tack with wires to it holding on???

I assume you meant the Tachometer (tach) but telling us what year & model bike you have would help us "see" your problem.
