A lil bit ago I posted asking about a spacer kit for rear passenger boards so I can put a spacer on my derby cover for the VPC. Somebody on another forum where I posted the same question posted a link to Pingel's kit: http://www.pingelonline.com/pingel_f..._extenders.htm
which are available through Drag Specialties. A gracious member here sent me a PM and said he could whip something up for me if I told him what I wanted. I sent him that link and he worked his magic!The pics are taken without the derby spacer because I don't have that yet, but these are great little items for any dresser because as you can see in the pic it would allow you to remove the derby cover for servicing without having to remove the rear floorboard and it also helps protect the pipes from melted boots.

In one of the pics you can see the spacer on the far upper right of the derby and above you can see the spacer on a side shot of the right side. Notice the missing seat....BadX should be getting that on the way back to me this week

 

Get us some pics of the finished product. Also, what is BadX doing to the seat?

Was doing the wiring on new tail light last night. Was tired made an error, knew I should of went to bed. Well it isn't major and easy to correct, just a pain

and i need them for the passinger floorboard foot peg kit like the one you have,b/c of the r/hs
how big of a spacer on the derby cover are you getting?
let me know if i can buy a set

I used this template http://www.aim-tamachi.com/Template.pdfoff the aim-tamachi site to measure the depth of the derby cover and found that I needed a 3/8" spacer. Aim-Tamachi only has a few available and does not off the 3/8"....if you scroll down here http://www.aim-tamachi.com/motorcycle/products.htmlyouwill see what they offer. Iwas alsotold that theirs are notgloss polished and won't be a perfect match soI am going witha 3/8" from these guys http://www.azece.com/orderderby.htm#...cover%20spacerasa distributor told me that he uses them for spacers because they look better. I don't sell the floorboard spacers, someonehere on the forum was kindenough to make a 1" set for me (for which I am working on something for him in return).Pingelmakes and sells them in that link that I posted andthey are availablethrough DragSpecialties as part #1621-0069.
