I have both the BAL rear tail light, and the Custom Dynamics front and back, along with the run/brake adapter from HD. Works together great. Buddies say I'm the brightest bike on the road.

Go with the BAL , it is very bright. I have CD signal lights also. No problems

I have the CD tail light...super bright. I really feel like cagers stay a little further back at a stop light.

So is the BAL taillight $100 brighter than the CD taillight?

Nope. I have the CD LED signals and tailight. If they can't be seen, the slightly brighter BAL isn't going to make a difference. CD also has awsome support and warranty.
