I can't believe that you would go so low as to even mention the possibility that any thread ( even one about saddlebag latches ) could degrade to the topic of .... Are you ready for this? ... Did ya see where I'm from??? .......... the greed has nothing to do with politics, altough the politicians are at the trough as well, corporate/share holder greed play the bigger part. The salary base across NA has deminished in most job sectors, jobs that paid $25 an hr 10 years ago our now $15-$17 if you can find one, $12 to $14 is more realistic, try and grow an economy on that work force income ...... free trade and the global economy may play a big part but when big corporations move plants and services overseas and pay ppl a bag of rice to work and charge us more for the same product/service the playing field needs to leveled.


On a lighter note I did find one of my HD t-shirts made in the US( 100th Ann shirt), all the rest were Mexico or Nicaragua

 

the problem as I see it is all of the obove, but uncle sam should should stay as far away from private busines as it possibly can. the least power it has, I think the better off I'll be. There, thats my .02 I'm all better now.

You can find made in USA at Walleys if you look. We've become a colony of China. This is about to change as they now have capital to invest. Their government will cheat them worse then ours has.
