Default Pillion Scuffing Rear Fender

I have a mustang passenger pillion on my 09 RK. It has 2 rubber bumpers at the rear but it it still scuffing the hell out of my fender both at the rear and forward contact points. The rubber bumpers work but the 4 corner points which are wrapped in the seat material have the metal pan just under the the material and this is what is scuffing the fender. I am sureit would help if the OL lost a few pounds but that avenue is not one I dare approach. Any other suggestions??

I put the paint protectant film, clear Bra, 3M, etc. goes on like window tint, completely invisible other than the edges and that's only due to the thickness. Keep the edges in a inconspicuous pace and you won't see it at all

Cool

Leave the seat on, then nobody can see your paint?

I have the same seat and setup.
I like the single seat set up when the wife's not on back.
Actually, the stock street glide street scratched the fender a little as well.

I put thin strips of sticky back weather stripping along the bottom of the Mustang pillion where the rivets run.

It took care of the problem.
The only thing now is when I take of the passenger pillion I get a little amount of adhesive from the sticky from the pressure between the weather stripping and the fender.

It wipes of rather easily though.

thanks that sound like thebest solution. I will check Napa or O'Reillys to see if they have it. Leaving the seat on when she only rides 10% of the time is a no go.

This is the best solution, but packing tapes works in a pinch. I put some on my SG 20,000 miles ago where the seat rubs the tank and fender and it's still holding up. But I do agree clear bra is the best idea.
