Default Cheap upgrade for low beam riding?

Whats a good cheap light upgrade for driving with the low beam on? Not looking to spend $400 plus on a headlight. Whats a good upgrade for just the bulb?
Thanks

Sylvania Silver Star is a good choice.

Drive slow and let the cage behind you light your way.

I went with PIA Xtreme white on my fxdx. Purplish 55w low, but darn bright and is 60w pure white high.

For $100 you can get a Trucklite Phase 7 LED headlight.
Got one from Eastern Performance for mine and it's great. The light is bright white, and lights up the road nicely on low beam, without having cars flashing you all the time. The high beam is VERY bright, and the range is impressive. I always have it on high beam during the day for visibility to oncoming traffic. Tried multiple replacement bulbs before, but they didn't even come close to the output of the Trucklite. Just my 2 cents........

Drive slow lol... I don't let cages get that close behind me, if they are they get the look and hand saying keep back.

+1 on the Silverstars. Here's a link to an old post about the Silverstars ==> https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...e-upgrade.html

Hope this helps.

You sure that $100 is correct? Thought they went for $300+ Showing $199 on their web site?

A Silverstar bulb in an E-code lens works well if you have an older bike.

I ran this lens for years in my '01FLHT. It's a great upgrade.

The headlight alone is 199 plus an additional discount if you mention this forum.

Sylvania Silver Star is a huge improvement over stock. My low beam went out on my stock bulb last summer and after reading some posts here about the Silver Star figured I would give it a try and must admit it makes a big difference.
