Talk to Candlepower inc. they have a bulb that though not legal is a 70/65 I think and will not overload the wiring. Worked awesome.

+1 on the e-code. Get one for a Jeep cj, fits great. I put a $35 hid bulb in mine and love it. Doesn't blind oncoming traffic, but is very bright.

Bingo ... have this in my 2009 FLHTCU and it works great for the money spent ... A word of caution ... Be careful going bigger ... The headlight plug can/will overheat and melt ... Ask me how I know how?

Got one from Eastern Performance for mine and it's great. The light is bright white, and lights up the road nicely on low beam, without having cars flashing you all the time. The high beam is VERY bright, and the range is impressive. I always have it on high beam during the day for visibility to oncoming traffic. Tried multiple replacement bulbs before, but they didn't even come close to the output of the Trucklite. Just my 2 cents........
Hmmmm .... $100.00 ??? ... http://www.easternperformance.com/pr...ve-Models-7%22

Here you go. Headlamp and bulbs, great seller. Buy two bulbs to have a spare.

Cibie headlamp and Osram Ralley 70/65 bulb, well worth the cost, much less than other options.

If you need running lamps the replaceable running lamp bulbs, stock, are GE 881L bulbs.

The 881L (L is for long life) is rated at:

Ge Halogen 12v 881L/BP replacement Bulb
Primary Application: Fog/Driving Lights
12.8 Volts, 2.10 Amps, 27 Watts
T-3-1/4 Bulb Type, Right Angle PGJ13 Base
43 Mean Spherical Candle Power from C-6 Style Filament, 1000 Hour Rated Ave. Lab Life

I found and purchased the GE 898 bulbs. The specs are:

Ge Halogen 12v 898/BP replacement Bulb
Primary Application: Fog/Driving Lights
12.8 Volts, 2.93 Amps, 38 Watts
T-3-1/4 Bulb Type, Right Angle PGJ13 Base
60 Mean Spherical Candle Power from C-6 Style Filament, 1900 Hour Rated Ave. Lab Life

Great option for the running lamps.

Love the silver star however had no luck with the ultra

ultras tend to burn out within 6 months.

The Osram/ E code moo is good . Adding a relay kit from www.easternbeaver.com makes it even better.

I don't find a Silverstar number 881. Is that the right bulb number for my 12 UC?

Thanks

PIAA here, and half tempted to try RECON. $30/pair and love them in my truck. They are for off road use, but not sure if they'll hold up in a bike. http://www.gorecon.com/products.php?...re-5600-Kelvin
