Unhappy HD LED tail/running lights

Anyone get the HD version of the rear red LED turn/running lights? How do you like them and are they really red running lights also? Assume they light up when applying the brakes? Thanks for any feedback.

If you are talking about the ones I have on my Ultra (68128-10) I find them really good. Much brighter and yes, they really are running, turn and brake lights in one.

Thanks- only wondered about if they go out while on the road. Current setup as you know just requiees a simple bulb replacement. I guess those LEDs will last a long time though and probably no need to worry.

Got em and think they are a great upgrade. I got them during the first 30 days I owned the bike so they are covered by my 4 year extended warranty. No problems with them. There are several leds in each light so I would think if you had a problem you wouldn't lose the whole light just one of many smaill leds.

I have a set on my 2012 Road King. They are incredibly bright only down fall is when they do go out I had to replace the complete end. Cant just replace the circuit board.

I have them and like 'em alot. Easy to install. Work as designed. The turn signals function as running lights and light up when I hit the brake.

Yes, that is a downside. I have them at the front as run/signal lights and a number of them have failed. Indeed you can not just replace the circuit board with the LED. Worse though is that they come in pairs at $140 per set.
But, luckily, unlike the conventional bulb they do not seem to fail all in one go.

Have them and love them. Very bright and so far (2 years 23,000 miles) very reliable. It was one of the first mods I did. The extra running lights and extra brake lights give me comfort sitting at a light or intersection.
