I had them on my RK and liked them. I've already ordered a set for my new street glide as well.

My biggest thing is trying to get rid of the buffeting coming up and hitting me in the neck. After neck surgery it kills me. That is why I got ride of my SG and got a RG Ultra. I'm worried that even adding lowers and having a shield I will still get that buffeting coming from over top of the lowers and go right into my neck and chest. Which is the same results I got from the gap in between the fairing and lowers on the batwing. Even with the fairing deflectors and triple tree deflector.

Was about to mention the lower deflectors and the fork baffle.
Cold weather rides let you know where the wind comes from. For me, it was over the tank, and the baffle put a stop to most of that. The fork deflectors help "push it out" from me and passenger. I leave those items on all year long.
Good luck with the lowers. I have thought about trying something down there, but have not jumped on it.
