Default What are the thickest guage Apes?

Im looking for the thickest guage 19" apes. So far thickest ive seen is the Roland Sands...i dont like the thin guage looking apes like LA Choppers or the Harley apes. Basically im looking for the baddest, thickest looking 19" apes in black...

Keep in mind the heavier and taller the bars, the harder it will be on the clamp that holds it in place. If you haven't factored that into the equation, eventually you will.

I already did. Lol. I had 16"s on my Fatboy Lo and had to torque them every now and again no matter the lock-tite situation.. Im going 19"s no matter what therefore the leverage is going to be tough on the bars and I agree the heavier and higher the bar the more abuse the bars are going to take when pot-holes are hit etc..but Im willing to sacrifice. Im just going to get some polyurethane bushings and roll the dice

Carlini makes a 1.5'' diameter ape. I have a set of the 16'' gangsters (really 17.5'' once you factor in the bar thickness). I love them! Good quality and nice looking. However, Carlini's are NOT the least expensive choice out there.

Thickest I seen was 1.5. I've got 18 x 1.5 apes on my 09 SG from Buky Bars. Might want to give them a ring and see if they can set you up. Ask for Luis. Peace.
