Default Best Bike or Helmet Mount Cam?

Looking for a new camera for mounting on the bike while traveling. Would like to take video as well as shoot some still shots while moving. What are you using?

I use the GoPro with the optional remote. I have both the helmet and crashbar mounts. The remote can be zip tied to the handlebar for easy control.

I have the gopro setup on the front and back of the bike. For the front I use a hog tag collar mount which goes on the cow bell

How is the video quality on the GoPro? Is there a lot of shakiness from vibration when you use video?

Who uses the helmet mount? Do you like it?

It all depends on the mount you use. All of my videos are rock solid.

I use the GoPro black edition. It records 1440p at 48 frames per second, 1080p at 60 frames per second, or 720p at 120 frames per second. I keep it on the 720p setting (lowest quality) and the video quality is amazing. The picture doesn't shake or vibrate. As for how long you can record, that depends. It does not have internal memory, you have to supply a micro SD card. The bigger the card, the longer you can record.

While you are answering Hog 95023's question can you throw in which helmet mount you use? I was on the GoPro website and they had a head mount with straps that was shown on a helmet and then they had one that was attached on the front of the helmet but it didn't say exactly how it attaches to it.
