I would go listen to some before I made a choice, wasted money if you dont like them after you get em put on.

You'll get a lot of opinions on this but I agree with the previous post, you gotta listen to others. There are also alot of V&H clips on their site with comparisons.

On my 2012 Ultra Limited I went from stock to the SE slip-ons. They weren't bad but I was looking for something a little deeper with more rumble (I should have followed my own advise). Then I removed the cat from the stock header and while it did wonders for the heat it didnt do much for the exhaust note.

After that I started looking and listening to other bikes and decided I needed to at least bump the mufflers up to 4" to get the rumble I was looking for. Since I was in the process of blacking my bike out that narrowed my choices a little.

In the end I decided on the V&H Blackout Rounds which are basically blacked out Monster Rounds. While I was at it I decided to stick with V&H and also got the Power Duals with black shields.

That combo ended up getting me exactly what I was looking for (together with a stage one intake and fuel moto PV).

Initially I wasnt crazy about the look of the Power Duals but after having seen it on a lot of other bikes I warmed up to it by the time a purchased them. Now I couldnt imagine anything else on there.

That's my story for what its worth to ya.

since you have the origional pipes, you don't have to worry about dragging on a quick turn. i was considering the V&H high output after listening to them in the showroom when a salesman was demonstrating a bike to a customer. ended up with some RC at the recomendation of the parts guys. not sorry at all. got some pipes and 4 inch slash cuts. sound good to me. would go try to listen to some like mentioned above or find some sound bites on the web.

well you did not mention what noise level you were looking for but you can't go wrong with V&H , I have the twin slash rounds on mine and love the sound and looks of V&H quailty

Finding the right exhaust can cost a lot of $. I have tried SE, Klock Werks, supertrapp fatshots, Jackpot 4", and Rinehart 3.5"and so far my bike runs the smoothest and it has the largest baffles of all the mufflers I have tried. So besides sound consider vibration etc. and tuning every time you make a change.
