Looks like a pretty nice unit. Does it have a built in antenna or do you have to mount an external?

I currently have the Quest with the Faring mounted GPS base and bracket. Does anyone know if the motorcycle mounting bracket for the Zumo(the bracketthe unit actually resides in) will fit theGPS mount base that is currently installed for the GPS Quest?IfI did not have to replace the fairing mounted bracket that my Quest fits in, I wouldconsider springing for the Zumo when my Quest wears out.

yellow pages, voice prompt, touch screen- it really is amazing how much is packed into the little box.

Easyglide,

Zumo 550 supplied mounting hardward for the motorcycle is a RAM mount configuation designed to replace the bolts in your handlebar clutch assembly or a "U" bolt affair to bolt directly on to your handlebars. The Zumo "motorcycle" receiver assembly then attaches via the RAM ball.

Hope this answers your question.

The best price that I have found is www.getfeetwet.comfor $699.99. www.rammount.com has a handle-bar mount that fits just behind the switch housing that works great. Of course it comes with a switch-housing mount, but it puts the unit too close to the rider for me. The handle-bar mount puts the unit close to the fairing. I purchase the XM antenna, which mounts under the fairing and I wouldn't trade this unit for any other gps on the market today.
