I did heritage bars, then went to HD Beach Bars, then Carlini Gangster 16" apes, then back to Beach Bars. I'm stayin' with the BB's.

I just added Krome Werks Fat Heritage bars on my RKC last week. Had a set of fat beach bars previous owner installed but my arms were to short couldn't get comfortable. Love the bars I bought and at $165 and free shipping from DK, it was a great price and am very pleased and comfortable now.

I also have a set of heritage bars on my 04 rk classic. They measure up almost identical to the reach bar. No cable changes were needed, only a little tweaking of the hard brake line.

I can go all day long with this bar, and my comfort stitch seat. I'm short, and this combo just work for me. I do not, and could not, use a backrest with this, I'm not leaning back at all. Great width and angle that let's me control the bike well in sand and such. Tall enough I can comfortably stand on the floorboards when necessary.

Happy with my beach bar. Wouldn't mind trying some apes to see the difference.
