Give me a break.

Tips? Don't look 1%ers, mostly outlaws and hells angels in the eye, unless you have a gun. Don't let your wife or girlfriend show her ****, unless you have extra money for her bail. Dont do burnouts. And Lock your bike every time you get off it.

Juststay away from bumper to bumper traffic on Main Street and you won't have any problems with overheating. Hit US 1 in Ormond Beach ( Iron Horse, Boot Hill, Broken Spoke, Smiley's). Stay away from the intersection of US 1 and I-95. Traffic for Destination Daytona is a bitch. Make sure you hit Main Street but just park and walk. Sit outside at the Full moon saloon, drink a cold beer and watch the crowds go by.

Please dont worry about the 1% ers. They dont have problems with you unless you go looking for it. I have been to many outlaw functions and never seen any problems. All you have to do is be respectfulltowards them like you would anybody else. Just go have fun and do not worry!

The so called 1% clubs are a different breed these days. They no longer want attention drawn to themselves so they usually avoid any trouble if possible. The only trouble is from any rival MCs that might be around or the few bad apples among them. There are certain MC rules that they follow and if you are not educated in their lifestyle you can get jammed up because you disrespected someone's colors without even knowing it. It's all pretty childish when you look at it from the outside, but for them it's serious. Most of the bars and other attractions in Daytona have signs saying "No Colors Allowed" so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

i worked security as a trooper at bikeweek for years....we have less trouble there than at the state fair...the main problem is traffic and drunks on bikes....we had one wreck that killed 3 bikers, caused by another biker...the local police usually run a lot of the trouble makers out, before they have a chance to cause trouble..its a good event and be sure to see main street at night...have fun..
