11000 on E-3
put a Dunlop E-3 on my 07 Ultra [ 160/80-16 ] and only got allmost 11000 miles on it , seems like it is bout wore out , hard to tell because the center has no tread on it new , I can still see some of the side bars coming to the center but thin , thought they would get better milage , are the new E-3s better , have had good luck with them in the past but never really kept track of the milage just put one on when needed , looking for feed back on what others are getting

Do you otherwise like the 160?

I was just over 22K on my 10 Ultra. That is why I stuck with the stock tire. 22K and it was not quite to the wear bars. Put new on because I only use the Ultra for extended rides and new is much better for rain and braking traction.
Dealer had a 20% off sale on tires in Feb so I bought a set and did the install at home.

Check your wear bars. If you don't see them, keep working on Putting miles on until you do. If you see them, start planning a tire change. I wouldn't worry too much about how a quality tire looks as long as the wear bars are not showing, there is no cracking or other obvious damage and it hold air reliably.
If it passes inspection, ride on.
