Has anybody ever just changed the bulbs in inner fairing? Nothing wrong with the ones I have now but I was thinking of changing the bulbs out to achieve a red white and blue scheme. If anybody has changed the bulbs out for another color, where did you get them?

 

they are just 194 wedge bulbs. i got 10 blue led ones from ebay for $4.00 shipped. they have red and white also....

These worked great for me,slightly brighter then stock, make sure theyre the T10 168 194 W5W 8SMD.... 8led work the best

Can't change the speedo and tach color in any way can you? Besides changing them completely?

WLED x5 the "x" is for color. R for red B for blue W for white G for green etc.

As for the speedo and tach, there are a couple members that do this mod. I used marty. Myride7 is his screen name on the forum. I am very pleased with the job he did and his turn around time. His site is www.gaugeledmods.com

 

There are guys that do this, it requires soldering the board, and its tricky if you dont have a lot of experience doing it.

You can do the four smaller gauges with simple replacement bulbs. If you want to change the color of the tach and speedo... see above.

 

Depends on what you consider cheap, definitely cheaper than Dakota Digitals.
