Hey Guys
I am planning on getting new gauges. (06 SG) I was giving thought on doing this myself. But how do I get the current mileage on the new gauges?

If your ordering replacements from HD, they will ask you what the mileage needs to be set to when you order. Supposedly can't be done after you get them.

Default RE: Mileage on new gauges?

I bought a new spun alum for Chicagoharley - they just ask what milage I wanted on the new set - they really did not care what number I gave them... I started at 343 (honor 9/11 {I am a firefighter}) However, I wrote down the Milage from my old set and also on the front page of my Service Man - No secret here

Keep in mind - your dealer may require the actual milage - I did a complete change from a FLHTCI into a RG - So, when I bought new guages - I wanted to keep track of my New creation - I will Never present her milage in any way except the True miliage when necessary... IE: service or if sold...
