think its time for new SG
I am seriously thinking of upgrading my 06 Cobalt Blue Pearl SG for a new 2014 if they offer the right colors this year, I love my ride but with all the upgrades since 06 I feel like I am missing out on a much better bike than what I have. Some of your experienced opinions would be appreciated, are the new bikes worth starting all over again? Thanks!

and I went from '95 to 2009...
but skipped all the years inbetween as I didn;t consider the "advancements" enough to justify the cost.
you should sit down with pen and paper and see if the numbers make sense for you to buy a new bike and set it up the way you like.
and if you can get value out of your bike if you sell it
( oh wait, I'm a shareholder...go out a spend!!!)

bikes that are paid for seem to ride better...LOL
Seriously I couldn't imagine having to dump all that money into getting a stock SG to how I would want it again! But I also understand the new bike itch too...Good luck and search for a deal. You might be surprised what a dealer will give you on your 06.

I never owned or rode a pre 2009 tourer so I can't compare but I can tell you that 09 and newer tourer rode flawlessly and they felt really planted in the corners. Even with the bike fully loaded with a passenger (11 ultra limited) it was balanced and stable even at highway speed. I think you will welcome the improved changes made to the touring line. Take a test ride and see for yourself
