Yes after a recent purchase of an 09 Ultra, I have the best of both worlds. But my daughters wedding is forcing me to sell one of the bikes. Personally I just like clean no nonsense looks of the SG. It's more nimble and more fun to ride. I have TP (maybe has 500 miles) and Lower fairings for winter riding, so I can get pretty close to the Ultra when the need comes. My wife says the main difference for her is the seat and rear speakers. So if I keep the SG, I will get an Ultra seat and speakers for that one time of year that she rides with me. You would think it would be easier to rent an Ultra, but insurance laws in Oklahoma are such that dealerships don't rent bikes.

Default same choice

I looked at StreetGlides for a while and really liked the look of them while I was deployed but the price wasnt took cool. When i got back and started looking I found the Electra Glide Classic that already had $3,000 done to it and only 1700 miles for about $6,000 less than a new Streetglide. I am customizing mine to a streetglide look still for less money than a new streetglide and still have the toupak.

What sucks is some dealerships won't let you test ride their bikes. Or if they do, it's just down the street and back. Strangely, you can get a lot better test ride when Demo Truck comes to town.

Yeah, a SG would have given you a cleaner, sleeker look.

The issue noted with the sound system is one that can be fixed. I can cruise all day long at any speed and hear the tunes with ease.
